Comet Studio exists because the studio we needed when we were building didn't exist.
I'm Kapil, the founder. I've shipped products across fintech, enterprise, and consumer — and watched the same pattern repeat: smart teams building the wrong thing with confidence, discovering the mistake six months and significant cost later. The studio is built around stopping that pattern before it starts.
We work with teams who've already built something. Not pre-product, not pre-revenue brainstorms. Companies that have shipped, are past the first version, and are trying to figure out why the results don't match what the product was supposed to produce.

From the founder
I started Comet Studio because I kept watching the same thing happen. A founder ships a product. The product works, in the narrow sense that the software runs. But it does not do what it was supposed to do — the revenue does not show up, the team does not adopt it, the next round of investors are not impressed. Then a year of rebuilding starts. The cost is rarely the original build; the cost is the rebuild, the lost time, and the decisions that were never made deliberately the first time.
Comet Studio exists to make those decisions deliberately, before the build. We are fixed price because the structure allows it — a disciplined team in India that ships, documents, and exits. We do not bill by the hour because we do not want the incentive to drag work out. We do not take equity because we want the relationship to end cleanly when the work is done.
